Welcome to the Woodmont Wahoos!
The Woodmont Wahoos Swim Team is a member of the Atlanta Swim Association League. We compete against local teams in Cherokee, North Fulton and Forsyth County.
The season is a fun & quick season with practices in May (afternoon) & June (morning) and meets on Thursday evenings in May & June.
We welcome swimmers of all skill levels; aged 5 to 18. The minimum requirement is for the swimmer to be able to CONFIDENTLY swim the length of the pool, 25 yards, (any stroke), without the assistance of a flotation device or a coach to be there with them. If you are unsure of your child's ability, we recommend doing swim lessons leading up to the season so that they (and you) can be confident in their abilities.
We do not require 100% attendance for practices and understand that it is a busy time of year with other sports and commitments. We do ask that if your swimmer takes up a spot on the roster, they show up 80-90% of the time. As with anything, the more they practice, the stronger and better they and the team will compete.
